About Us

Christian Community Action (CCA) is a faith-based nonprofit organization dedicated to alleviating poverty, bringing hope, and changing lives throughout North Texas. Founded in 1973 and headquartered in Lewisville, CCA serves individuals and families across Denton, Collin, Dallas, and Tarrant counties through a comprehensive approach focused on rescue, relief, and restoration.

CCA provides a wide range of services designed to help individuals move from crisis to stability and self-sufficiency, including food assistance, emergency financial support, education and empowerment programs, children's services, career coaching, counseling, and spiritual care. Their innovative ''Seeds for Success'' program offers personalized support, life-skills development, and coaching to help families achieve long-term stability rather than simply addressing immediate needs.

Serving more than 12,000 individuals and families annually, CCA partners with local businesses, churches, organizations, volunteers, and community leaders to combat food insecurity, prevent homelessness, strengthen families, and create pathways toward prosperity.
